For the Pathways 2 Success project, I led the complete website design and development process—from early concept and UX planning through final implementation. The goal was to create a modern, easy-to-navigate website that clearly communicates the organization’s mission while making it simple for visitors to access programs, resources, and community information.

Design Process

The project began with UX/UI design in Figma, where I developed the full site layout, visual hierarchy, and user flow. This phase allowed stakeholders to review the design, provide feedback, and ensure the structure supported the organization’s goals before moving into development.

Using Figma helped establish:

Clear page layouts and content structure
Mobile-responsive design planning
Visual consistency with branding and colors
User-friendly navigation for community members and families

Once the design was finalized and approved, the project moved into development.

WordPress Development

After approval of the design, I built the website as a custom WordPress site, translating the Figma design into a fully functional and responsive website.

Key development features included:

Custom WordPress theme development
Responsive design optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop
Flexible content management for easy updates by staff
Clean page layouts for programs, services, and resources
Performance optimization for faster load times

The result is a modern, accessible website that allows the Pathways 2 Success team to easily manage their content while providing visitors with a clear and engaging online experience.

Project Outcome

The finished website provides a strong digital presence for the organization, helping them better connect with the community, share program information, and support their mission of empowering youth and families.

This project highlights my ability to guide a website from concept and UX design through full WordPress development, ensuring both visual quality and long-term usability.
